Ok a little about me before I go into my college choices. I am a good student who is pretty social. In the future I hope to go into Law, I have "pre-declared" my major in political science but I am also interested in economics. I live in Omaha, Nebraska and Next year I am going to college.
I have several schools to choose from being Drake, Creighton, University of Nebraska, University of Kansas and K-State. I will be hearing from Tulane soon, WashU and Emory in the near future. But right now I am trying to narrow down my choices of the first five to a more manageable number. This is where I need your help. I like Drake because it is a good school where not only will I have a lot of freedom but I can take the classes that I want and the size is attractive to me. Creighton is another great school with a well known law school. But I live in Omaha right now so I wouldn't be going too far and I fear that I will be missing out on much of the college experience. Nebraska has a great economics department and many good firms recruit from their law school. I also have nearly a full ride to Nebraska but in this situation please do not factor money into your advice. Also a vast majority of my friends are going to Nebraska and even though I enjoy spending time with my friends I feel that it is important to meet new people. The Kansas's business students rank 4th on national business tests in the country and that would be good to have in case I go with economics. As for as K-State I'm not really sure why I applied there Kansas and K-State were more of safety schools but they are worth considering.
So what do you think? What schools do you like and why? What would you pick?
