<p>My friend has the 16 GB ipod touch and he absolutely loves it. I think the screen is brighter and more resolute on the touch, as opposed to the other models. Go for it.</p>

<p>I went through this same debate with myself, but I decided to get the iPod Classic (in a few weeks after I've saved up). I currently have the old iPod Mini, and I've completely filled it up so I can imagine my music, video, and picture collection growing insanely fast when I have something that can hold almost as much as my computer can. The iPod Touch is cool if and when there is internet around, but otherwise I can't justify the lack of space for the price. 80GB for less than the price of the smallest iPod Touch is an amazing deal.</p>

<p>I went to Radioshack today and they said iPod touch was an discontinued product and Apple was going to have a new model with cheaper price or something like that. Should I wait ?</p>

<p>^ Apple usually updates their iPod product line in September or December. There's also a credible rumor that the touch will be updated soon.</p>

<p>well apple usually has a big press conference in september for their new products. Part of me thinks that's why they have "buy a mac and get an ipod!" deal. If I were you I would just wait because a) there might be a better ipod coming out and b) the touch's price will probably go down after the mac conference.</p>

<p>^September. I believe the new iPod Touch is rumored to have a camera and possibly a higher capacity and/or lower price. There are also some rumors about the other models as well.</p>
