<p>i have an 8GB ipod with 4.5GB filled, 100% songs. i don't see how it's remotely possible to fill a 16GB, let alone 30GB ipod. can you honestly know and like that many songs? how many songs do you have on your ipod/mp3?</p>
<p>My MP3 player is only 8 gigs. I have less than half of all the songs that I like on it (currently at 20 gigs), and it's growing steadily. Also keep in mind that different people may use different bitrates or formats. I know a lot of people that use 320kbs, which (obviously) takes up much more room than your typical 128kbs MP3 file.</p>
<p>I have a 32 GB iPod touch, and I only have 300 songs on it, a couple of videos, a couple of podcasts, and a few movies. There is ALOT of space left. And no, I don't think you can know that many songs, but you can fill your iPod up with many other things...</p>

<p>My friend was telling me that his friend has 82 GB of music on his computer... like literally every album from like millions of artists...he's insane...Basically he listen to one good song by the artist and then just DLs all their songs ever...</p>
<p>Mine cost about $500.00. It was a an early graduation present from my grandfather. I'm pretty happy with- it has a lot of features that I don't really need, but I use most of them. Oh, and I was also expecting it to be Bluetooth-enabled- and was a little disappointed when I realized that it wasn't.</p>

<p>And when my first iPod died on me like six months ago, I've been too lazy to redownload a lot of the songs/movies I had (I didn't backup, I'm an idiot like that). It's possible to use up that much space by filling 'er up with videos. Oh and using it for other things (my iPod doubles as an external hard disk too). For songs only? By doing what Sheed30's friend does.. I've been downloading a lot of albums lately too.</p>

<p>I've got a full 30 gb ipod and 116.55 gb on my external hd at the moment. It isn't that hard, I explore a lot of different obscure bands, there are a lot of them.</p>
<p>I have 6500 songs at about 29 GB, and I actually listen to most of it. Maybe not everything in balance, but I like everything I got on there. Although there are a few albums I have just because bittorrent dl'ed the whole record.</p>
