aahhaha really... how comes we have not so many Asians in CA but they all represent a large population in those good schools?

Yah, most of the concentration of Asians tend to be large cities, although Orange County is a good exception. I don't think I would be able to imagine or stand living in a place that had no or next to no Asian population. :(

Well... anyone know how many % of Asians are living in CA?

In some UCs like UCLA, UCI and so; we have like >40% Asians but i wonder how many % of Asians are actually living in the CA.

According to the US Census Bureau, in 2000, California was 10.9% (~3,692,009 of 33,871,648) Asian compared to 3.6% (10,131,188 of 281,421,906) in the country.

Nice, more than a third of all Asians in the nation are in California! :) Then again, I'm not sure how much I trust statistics/censuses in general, but I'm sure the numbers aren't too terribly skewed.
