So if I don't take the 19 credits this upcoming spring semester i will have to wait 1 more year to transfer (3rd year) :( My counselor said its up to me, but i don't want to risk failing a class.
Here are the classes:
-Speech 100 (3 units) (1st 8 weeks course/2months)
-Counseling-College Success (3 units) (begins 2nd 8 weeks/2months)
-American Studies (Online) (3 units) (1st 8 weeks course/2months)
-Geography Lab OR Anthro Lab, whichever works best w/ my schedule (1 unit, full Semester)
-Health 100 (3 units,full semester)
-Health Performance Lab (1unit, full semester)
-Italian (5units, full semester)

I've never taken an online course, would it be harder?
Also is Italian hard? Ive been speaking Spanish since I could remember, would that help?
Thanks so much :)

College success should be relatively easy, however foreign languages are very time consuming. If you’ve taken a lot of Spanish, you will have to be careful not to get confused, but you already understand some basics (nouns have genders, verbs are conjugated in six different ways for each - I/you sg/he+she/ we: you pl/ they…) so you should be finer than most.
I think it’s doable, but it all depends if you’re used to working efficiently and if you have good grades rather easily or with a lot of work.

Keep in mind that this isn’t a “real” 19-credit-hour schedule. At any given point you’ll only be in 16 or 13 due to the placement of the sprint classes.

That schedule doesn’t look too bad. When I took speech at my school, it was basically a blowoff class for the most part. Easy A. That’s going to vary from school to school though.

The fact that two of the classes are 4 week classes and are during different parts of the semester makes a big difference. You’re really only going to have 16 credits for the first half of the semester and 13 credits for the second half of the semester. That’s not bad.
