Is 20 units first quarter of my freshman year going to kill me?

I'm really worried about whether or not I'm going to be able to handle my course load for the fall quarter. I don't want to be too stressed! I don't know if I should take Humanities Core or not. I'm a business major and my schedule is:

-Management
-Economics
-Calculus
-Humanities Core

That's 20 units. What do you guys think..? Would it be a better idea to drop Humanities Core and take something like Psychology instead?

take writing instead of hum core.

that would be my recommendation.

use the extra time to socialize and such.

MGMT 10, ECON 20A, Calc, Writing = much better schedule for you IMO.

Although writing classes (39b) should be full by now…

yeahh writing 39b is full, that’s why I’m left with Humanities haha
so you guys think it’d be better if I took a GE fall quarter instead of Humanities, and then take writing 39b in the winter?

If you want to graduate in 4 years you need roughly about 15 units only. (depending on your major).

20 is actually too much. Even for someone that has been in college.

While at a CC everytime i took more than 15 units I always ended dropping one class. If you’re not a procrastinator, easily understand things, and want no social life then it could work. But since it’s your first quarter I think you should take it easy so you don’t overwhelm yourself and then have a bad rap for what college is truly about.

mliu, yes.

do that instead.
