I'm planning to apply to all the ivy leagues just on the off chance they might accept me. I'm a Canadian high school student in her senior year and I took the Chem SAT II test last june. I ended up getting a 720, which i thought was really good! However, I've been reading some of these threads and such, and people are saying if you don't have 750+, it's not good enough? But if i was to retake the subject test now, i think I would do worse simply because I'm not taking chemistry this year. I did get a 98% in Canadian Grade 12 Chemistry and I also got a 4 on the AP exam, despite going through maybe 50% of the AP Material in class. I'm just wondering if a 720 will put me out of the running for potential admissions in the Ivys? Or will they consider it differently since I'm an international student with (surprisingly) different curriculum? I currently have an average in the high 90s with a ton of extracurriculars, so should my subject test discourage me?
