Is 800/800/700 or 800/800 better?

I'm right now in a quandary of whether to take US history in june as a 3rd subject test or not. I already took math 2 (800) and plan on taking chemistry as well. My main question is will it hurt me to take US history test and get a low score compared to chem and math2 compared to not taking the test at all? I plan on majoring in engineering and applying to engineering schools if that helps. Do they care about us history at all?

Personally, I think they’ll look favourably on any 700+ scores in humanities; shows you’re diverse and not just a maths/science kid.

you can take the test and just not send them the score if it isn’t good… anything 700+ would be good imo, so you might as well try, see what you get, and then decide.

800/800 looks better imo. Shows consistancy across the board. If you are going to be an engineer, then why would they care about US History?

I’m going to be doing pre med when I get into college and have taken Math 2 (800) and Physics (790) and will be taking bio in june to round up the threesome. The point of the subject tests it to take the ones you are good at to showcase your abilities, and not to show diversity.
