Is a 25 a good composite act score?????

It is around the 86th percentile so pretty good

well it’s not excellent but it’s “good” i guess

You need to evaluate your scores in the context of the schools you are applying to. Where are you wanting to attend? If you look at the common data set for your schools, you can generally find the scores of enrolled first year students from last year’s class. That will help you understand if your score is in range.

niceday is absolutely right - it depends on the colleges you have in mind. For some schools, a 25 is a good score. For others, it is not. If your hs has Naviance - use that to see the average accepted ACT score at the colleges that interest you. If you don’t have access to Naviance - look on the colleges admissions websites. They will typically post a midrange ACT score for accepted students. Say for example the mid-range is 22 - 26. This means 25% of accepted students scored below a 22, 50% scored between 22 - 26, and 25% scored above a 26. So, for this college, a 25 would be good because you are towards the upper end of the mid-range. So - do some research on the colleges that interest you and you will find the answer to whether or not a 25 is “good”.
