Is a 29 composite or a 1920 a better score to send to colleges?

SAT:

Critical Reading: 690
Writing: 620 (8 on the essay)
Math: 610
Total: 1920, if you superscore it with my previous writing score it is a 1940.

ACT:
English: 34 (9 on the essay)
Reading: 31
Math: 27
Science: 22 (ouch)
Total: 29

Do Google search on SAT ACT COMPARISON

Most web sites with comparison tables indicate an ACT composite score of 29 to be essentially the same as an SAT score of 1920. Since the only real difference between your two tests is the higher essay score on the ACT, I would choose to send the ACT instead of the SAT.

A 29 seems slightly better than a 1920, and because of your higher essay grade, I’d go with the ACT.

You seem strong in all subjects for the sat whereas for the act science section is comparitively low. I would suggest submitting the sat to not appear unbalanced. Either that, or study for the science section and you could probably bring your composite up, making it better then the sat
