Is a 30 ACT or 1400 SAT even any good for UC Engineering Schools?

I know its very skewed here in college confidential but I don’t feel like these are even qualifying scores for higher up colleges. I mean I would really like to attend UCLA Engineering but my stats aren’t cutting it lol. I have re-takes in december and I’ve been taking practice sections/ test all during thanksgiving break. (my scores don’t seem to get better but Im learning things).

Do you think I could make engineering at UC Irvine or other lower tier UCs?
BTW my sub scores are all balanced, not heavily skewed to STEM

UC admissions are more focused on GPA vs. test scores. What is your UC GPA (Unweighted, Capped Weighted and Fully Weighted)? What are your EC’s and HS course rigor? Personal insight question essays will also be taken into account.

For UCLA, 25th and 75th percentile ACT composite is 29-34. You are within range but for Engineering you are correct the higher is better.
