<p>Thanks Columbia 2002, I get that. Just wondering if one of the “ordinary folk” with a good resume but mediocre SAT IIs has a shot. That was all the question was about.</p>

<p>Everyone has a shot. There’s something extraordinary about even the most ordinary people. SATs don’t mean the world. A vast majority of people who apply to top national universities and LACs are capable of doing the work and succeeding.</p>
<p>from what I heard SAT IIs are one of the least important part of admissions criteria and one 690 will not be a make or break thing–I got the same score on English LIT, my advice is to retake and do not stress too much.</p>
