Is a big difference between ACT section scores bad?

My ACT composite is a 33, but here’s my breakdown:
36 - English
36 - Reading
35 - Science
26- Math

I got perfect & near-perfect scores on every section except math, which is considerably lower in comparison to the others. Is this a red flag to top universities? If it helps, I’m applying as an English & Biology double major to most schools on my list, so could my lower math score (possibly) be overlooked?

I’m also not planning to retake the ACT. This was my first (and last) time taking it; I applied to several of my match schools Early Action and Rice Early Decision.

It’s not going to be “overlooked”. Everything in a application is factored into the decision.

Every application has strengths and, by definition, a weakest component. You have a mix on one test - three very strong components and one that’s not at the same level. All will be included in the decision making process.

If you’re not planning on retaking, put it in the past and either focus on RD applications or just see what the result of your ED applications tell you.
