Is a degree from the University of Alabama a joke?

I am going to be an out-of-state transfer. I am in community college right now.
I got a 3.1 my first semester and a 4.0 my second semester.

I want to be a Business/Finance major and I hear the Alabama is good for that but it is such a party school that no one will take a degree from there seriously? Is that true?

What about these schools: University of South Carolina, Belmont University, Clemson University, and the University of Tennessee. Are these schools good for business/finance?

Thank you so much for your time and help!

Try using the Course Search forum. A degree from any of those schools would be fine for most purposes.

My friend wants to go to Bama for their engineering program and she’s very intelligent. She hopes to eventually work for NASA or Boeing, and I feel that if she thought it wasn’t a good school, she would not work as hard to attain a degree from there. I would recommend visiting the campus.
