How good is 'Bama’s B-school? I’m thinking of majoring in finance, and was wondering how good 'Bama’s B-School is. Is it best in the SEC? Vandy does not have undergrad business, so maybe just behind UF and UGA? Does anyone know the ranking?

Ohh, and I’m sure job connections are strongest in AL, especially Birmingham, but do they have decent connections in the South in general?

Thanks

Yeah, the b-school could the best thing UA has to offer. I genuinely think it is competitive with the likes of Vandy and Chapel Hill. The problem is that it's one of the larger schools in the university (second only to A&S).

Is it better than AUBURN?

In my opinion yes. It has a national reputation. Facilities and faculty are excellent.

When accepted to Alabama are you accepted into a college? If so, say your accepted into A & S can you switch to Business School prior to enrollment?

You apply to a specific college when you apply, but transfers between colleges are not difficult at all. For the business college, you have to apply to be accepted into the upper division anyway.

What do you mean by upper division?

Would it be better to major in Finance or Econ if I'm not really sure what I want in my life? as far as career, at least.
