Is a degree in Management Information Systems worth it?

I have been considering a major in Management Information Systems. Supposedly it has a high job outlook with high salaries, but I am worried that someone holding a Computer Science degree would snatch every job. I definitely do not want to major in CS because I hate math and don’t want to learn how to program. From your experiences and/or knowledge, is an MIS degree useless since it might be considered inferior to CS?

I am also considering double majoring in MIS and either English or Sociology; would either of those compliment MIS well?

What makes you think you’ll like MIS better than Computer Science?

Job outlook is great for informations systems people

The thing that sets you apart from computer science students is you’ll have accounting, economics, and management classes under your belt too.

I can’t really think of a job where english/sociology would complement MIS but that doesn’t mean there isn’t one!
