Guys,
Will Lawrence assist someone in becoming a surgeon.
Does it have good medical school connections?
If so, please list them.

Really, all you will get in an undergraduate program is a background in the basic sciences. Lawrence is pretty strong in that area and is reasonably well regarded by graduate schools. A significant number of LU graduates do go on to medical school. The issue isn't really having "connections" as much as having a strong and well regarded curriculum and faculty. IMHO, so called "premed" programs are largely marketing window dressing (as are "prelaw" programs). LU doesn't have highly structured pre professional majors. Rather, they provide some additional course work and advisory assistance to students to help them in structuring their course of study to best effect for application to professional schools. My wife and I are both LU grads. She was a biology major and ultimately went to medical school 5 years after graduating from LU (and after a couple masters degrees and working). It wasn't her original career plan and she didn't take her MCATs until then and did just fine. Graduated at the top of her medical school class and pulled a residency at Mayo. I'd say she did just fine by Lawrence. FWIW, I'd note that Dr. Maravolo, who was her advisor when she was at LU, currently chairs the Health Careers Advisory Committee.
