Is a natural sciences useless if I don't get into med school/dental/ect...

I’m sure this is pretty common. I’m a Health Science major and from what I understand, if I don’t get into a professional school or grad program I am pretty much screwed and will have to work in retail(or any job that just requires any college degree). My GPA right now is pitiful and I have multiple W’s so should I switch my major before it is too late? I’m currently a sophomore.

If your gpa is pitiful and you have a lot of W’s, is it mainly because you don’t like what you’re studying? Interest can have a huge impact on how well you can perform in courses. If you don’t like it don’t study it, and switch majors. If for other reasons you have a low gpa but DO enjoy being a health science major, then you don’t necessarily have to switch in order to prepare for an entry level job (just try to get research/work experience while in school) although I would talk to your advisor as well about how to raise your GPA, as internships often have a minimum gpa requirement regardless of major.
