<p>Not necessarily. You have to contact the UC that you choose to attend and see what what happens. My friend got a D last year too, but he still ended up going to UC Davis.</p>

<p>Yah, for UC Davis I don't think it'll be that big of a deal unless you get more than one D or a lot of C'S, but if you get a D in your senior year and you want to go to CAL OR UCLA, then you'll have a serious problem.</p>

<p>Yea, just make sure you contact the school ASAP about the situation. The worst thing you could do is let them find out on their own about it!</p>
