should I go to UCSD?

UCSD or UCI?
I have a D right now in one of my classes, so I'll be revoked if I go to ucsd... is there any way they can let my grade slide and still accept me?
do uci admissions accept one D? what should i do

First thing you want to do is to talk to your teacher about it. Semester isn’t over yet so you still have time to get a C.

Second thing you want to do if that goes poorly is to call UCSD and see what they say.

I really don’t understand how so many people manage to do this every year. Having opportunities go to waste because you couldn’t suck it up for a few more months… Anywho, good luck. Don’t let the senioritis extend into your college academics.

If you get a D, you’ll be revoked from UCI too.

a little something called mary jane

Yes, you will definitely be revoked. it happens every year.

You won’t necessarily be revoked - they will make an individual decision each time.
Try to not get a D - this goes without saying, but also try getting good grades in other classes - this will make your case stronger.
One of my friends was on his way a fail a class last year, so instead he dropped it; he called UCSD first to make sure they were okay with a drop. Dropping a class looks better than getting a D. He is currently attending UCSD.
I had the same issue last year, so I contacted Irvine, and they ended up responding a year later, when I was safely in Davis (no joke). So Irvine isn’t your best bet.
I also contacted UCSB, told them my situation over the phone, and they told me right away they’d take me, so try SB, in case you got into that one too.
UCSC will almost certainly reject you, from what I heard (second-hand info on that one though).
