Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I am borderline C/D in calc right now and I'm scared to death that I'll have a D after the final. What happens if you do get a D? Do they completely revoked your admissions?? There has to be some way around it. Even with a D I'll have a 3.9 which is well over a 3.0...so i dunno. Just wondering if anyone knows what happens...thanks

The 3.0 requirement is 3.0 unweighted.

A D really wont matter that much. THey will probably just send you a letter explaining why you got a D and stuff like that. I doubt they would rescind your admission

3.0 uw still shouldn't be a prob...what a weird letter to write..."dear UCLA, I am not naturally blessed with mathmatical intelligence. Please forgive me! From here on out, I will only take statistics! --Janene"

According to your provisional admissions contract, you're not allowed to dip below 3.0 uw or get any D's or F's. That being said, one D is not likely to get your admission revoked (although they would certainly be within their rights to do so). From what I understand from those who have received Ds or Fs during senior year, they will either ask you to remediate that class over the summer at a JC or will put you on academic probation for your first few quarters (you'll have to maintain a certain GPA or risk expulsion). As long as you notify them as soon as you find out about it, you should be fine.

I got a C!! Never thought I'd be so happy to get a C...phew
