I know getting into Stern is far more difficult than the other schools in NYU, so is all undergraduate business done through Stern or just some majors?

Also what is the difficulty of transferring from CAS to Stern?

Thanks

Yes, all through Stern, though CAS has a very strong economics department. Transferring into Stern from CAS is considered very difficult, so it’s not something to count on

Previous poster is correct, all business majors are in Stern. That is with the exception of the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology minor which has marketing classes for tisch/stern students. Other then that, gallatin students can get permission from professors to take Stern classes. CAS to Stern is difficult, but definitely doable if you go in with a plan and excel in your first year(s) of non-stern classes.
