Is an Industrial Design minor worth the Time?

<p>I have one more year left at Georgia Tech in order to get my mechanical engineering degree, but they recently allowed for the option to get an Industrial Design minor. This minor would not be hard to obtain and would take up one extra semester. </p>

<p>Is it worth getting? Will allow a larger variety of jobs?</p>

<p>if you are thinking of product design or engineering as a career, yes. My last few projects have required miracle mechanical engineering design (consumer electronics) so ID would help a lot there…</p>
