I go back in about 2 weeks for football so I’ll be there alot ealier than most people, but when do you guys have to go back? Are you excited to start college again or for the first time or are you excited to start just to get it over and move on?
I am really excited for this semester.
One of my closest friends from high school just transferred to my University, so that’s gonna be great. In terms of my schedule, I have Mondays and Fridays off every week and I’m taking a graduate course, so that’s neat too. I landed a job as a TA for my school’s English Department so I’m gonna be generating an income for the first time in my life (I have never held a job before).
I’m actually more excited to start my sophomore year than I was my Freshman year.
I’m looking forward to it. I’m excited to start my new classes. One of my classes actually deals with my major, so it’ll be neat to get some experience in my major.
I have classes M-F, but I am done by 10:50 on MWF, and I only have one class in the evenings on T & R.
I am SOOO excited to go back. I like summer for about two weeks and then I am dying to be back in the saddle and taking classes again. I usually get pretty bored in the summers, with or without a job.
I’m excited for my classes - I have a couple classes in my major, and the 3 that aren’t in my major are somewhat related to it - not just boring geneds. I’m also excited for some of my clubs to start back up and to see my out of state friends again. Also very excited about moving into my townhouse! It’ll be fun to live “on my own” for the first time.
However I’m pretty sad about “leaving” my internship. I’ll be kept on payroll and plan to keep working there for a few hours each week since I like it and it pays so much more than my on campus job, but it won’t be the same since it’ll only be 4-5 hours a week, and none of the other interns will likely be there. Also sad that I’ll have to drive far to taekwondo practice again (my internship and taekwondo are both in my hometown about 30 min from my school).
Hellz yeah! My earliest class is at noon, one of my high school friends is transferring, I get to be an RA, AND I have an established friend group.
I had tons of fun and friends at my summer job, though. I’m also gonna miss having enough free time to explore my city.
I’m excited about my classes next semester and about the friends I just began getting close to at the end of last semester.
I’m also incredibly nervous because I haven’t declared a major yet and I need to figure out over the course of the next two semesters what I want to do with the rest of my life. I was really hoping I would have figured it out by now, but after a year of classes I’m no closer to declaring a major than I was as an entering freshman.
Not at all…my fall schedule will be hell (physics, ochem, engineering design, diff eq, Spanish) and they were only offered at specific times so I don’t really have a lunch break.
I am, however, excited to get back to the animal shelter there. All my favorite dogs keep getting adopted while I’m not there!
How about yes and no?
I’m really loving this summer, yet I can’t wait for new member recruitment for a club in the Fall and the annual cycle of events throwing their new twists in.
Ooh and Senior year! Time needs to slow down, although I’m graduating in 3 years. Fun stuff, but I also don’t want to be buried too deep by the grind of Sr. project and a ton of labs while trying to have as much fun as possible.
I’m really excited for my sophomore year! I had a lot of evening classes last year, but my schedule worked out really well this semester because I’ll be done with my classes at 2:50 p.m. on MWF and 12:45 p.m. on TuTh. I also got work-study for the first time, so I’ve been sending emails to places where I want to work.
Currently doing summer, but only GEs, so it’ll be nice to go back to my major in the Fall.
Although, my schedule is hectic as all heck. My professor decided to switch my lecture time so that I end class at around 9pm on MW. That really sucks.
Wow lol. I’m looking foward to Christmas break already.
