I just wanted to know if anybody would be going there as a freshman because only freshmen live in the dorm and I want to know what other people think of the dorms and if they know what they are bringing into their dorm.

My sister went to Clayton State University for the first 2-3 years of college. She transferred and finished at Georgia Gwinnett. (The only reason she did was because she wanted to major in exercise science; she really liked Clayton State.) I visited the dorms when I visited her; they were brand new at the time (she didn’t live in them but was thinking about moving in). They’re really nice! If I remember correctly they’re all four-bedroom, two-bathroom suites - two bedrooms and a bathroom on either side of a living room and kitchenette. So you only have to share your bathroom with one other person. I remember the furniture being pretty nice (not old beat up stuff) and the rooms were pretty big compared to what I lived in as an undergraduate. I also remember the ones we saw got lots of light - it was daytime, there were no lights turned on and they were really bright. It looked like a great place for a freshman to live especially, since freshman rarely get suites at other schools.

thank you.
