Is AP chem+AP Calc AB+AP Psychology+AP Stats too much for junior year?

<p>I am taking these 4 AP classes and want your suggestions.Please help.I had only 1 AP in sophmore year world history.I did not like it but managed a A.I am good in math.</p>

<p>Please guide me if i shouldtake all 4 or should i drop AP stats?How much homework and tests should i expect every week?</p>

<p>It depends on how much you can handle. I’m taking Chem, Spanish Language and then self studying US gov, comp gov, psych, us history, environ sci, human geography, and possibly world history.</p>

<p>At my school AP Chem is laughable, Calc is moderate Psych is easy and stats is ok.</p>

<p>Sooooo, if you went to my school, I’d say you could handle it. But you don’t (probably) so I can’t help you. </p>

<p>What I don’t understand is threads like this. We don’t know how hard your school/classes are. (doh?) How can we advise you?</p>

<p>short answer: yes.
ap chem, at my school at least, was an extreme workload. you had to be very dedicated to do well. that was the only ap i took my junior year… i had friends who took apush as well (with a teacher who was not so great) and they felt completely overwhelmed at times.</p>

<p>i don’t want to discourage you, but just get a feel for each teacher and how much actual hard work you are expected to put forth. there are so many hours in a day LOL i just have strong feelings regarding chem i guess. but if it’s not as demanding in terms of work at your school (i realize all subject matter is the same) then sure go for it. pysch and stats are pretty easy ap’s from what i have heard, so if you’re up for the challenge GO FOR IT! if not, i would cut either pysch or stats. keep calc if you’re at that level because you will be better prepared for calc bc next year.</p>

<p>I’m taking the same APs as you are, but instead of Calc and Stats, I’m taking AP Music Theory and AP Chinese. And I’m going to be a junior also! :slight_smile: If you’re good at math I think you can handle it. At my school I’ve heard Psych is pretty easy so I think you’ll do fine.</p>

<p>If you can handle go for it! I have taken stats and as long as you can follow directions (like in a cookbook) you will be fine. If you drop one it shouldn’t be stats.</p>
