<p>Being Asian definitely will not help you. Some would even argue that it's harder for Asians to get in than it is for whites.</p>
<p>Being biracial/multiracial can be helpful, I think. I know someone who is Asian and black and was accepted to many top universities; it's not as though the ORM and URM cancel each other out, but rather they enhance the attractiveness of one another for diversity.</p>
