I was wondering what I should put down as my ethnicity...

I am Half-White, Half-Pacific Islander

Does putting down that I am ONLY Pacific Islander an advantage?
Or should I HONESTLY check off that I am both White and Pacific Islander?

I already submitted my early action apps as BOTH. Now I am worried that I put myself as a disadvantage by doing so.

I think either way might give you an advantage, depending on circumstance.

I can’t remember what movie this joke was in but they’re were saying “maybe you could get in if you were a Pacific islander but no way otherwise…” Yes, I’d go for it…it’s the truth…and it will give you a small edge (and sometimes a small edge is all you need).

Me too! I checked both Pacific Islander and White.

Usually it is best to list yourself as a minority if you are mixed, but I’m pretty sure Pacific Islander is under the Asian umbrella so listing both doesn’t really hurt or help you.
