Is Biology a capped major?

Hey everyone,
So I’ve heard that Bio and Engineering are the capped majors at UCSD, however the UCSD website contradicts itself.
On the page listing Undergraduate Majors, it only shows bio-engineering and engineering as capped majors. However under the Capped Majors page, it lists Biological Sciences.
Could someone please clarify and confirm whether or not majors under Bio are capped?? This really affects my decision on going to UCSD since I want to switch to a Bio major. Thank you.

Yeah it is. The reason why there is contradictory info is because it is going to be capped for Fall 2016. So, they are not fully done with updating each page.
