Im about to be a high school senior and I want to go to medial school eventually. I want a major that’s a good back up just in case I don’t get into med school or i decide to not pursue it. I have found that biotechnology has good job prospects. I was just wondering if such a major is difficult for premed considering I would want the highest possible GPA.
You can major in anything at all and go to medical school. Just take care of prerequisites either during college, or afterward. There are programs for this (see Goucher). Interestingly music majors do very well with admissions.
