Is Brown always this slow?

<p>Hi! My counselor sent in my recs 4 weeks ago, but they still haven’t appeared on my status page. I’m getting worried. I’m wondering if you guys are in the same situation.</p>

<p>Umm well last year they did have somewhat of a lag before stuff appeared on the status page. But then they also happened to loose my secondary school report (thank god they accepted me though :))</p>

<p>They probably are just processing a crapload of apps right now. Be patient. If it didn't show up by Jan 1, then call.</p>

<p>My recs and stuff have not shown up yet either and it has been about 4 weeks. I called and they said there is a huge backlog.</p>

<p>Yeah, my counselor sent my stuff about 3 weeks ago, still shown up as missing on the status page. I wouldn't worry about it. They'll contact you later if they haven't received it.</p>

<p>Maybe your counselors forgot to send your stuff.</p>

<p>That happened to a few people in my class...</p>

<p>I checked and double-checked with my counselor already, and she said she had already mailed it. Knowing that there's a backlog is such a relief! <em>sigh</em> Thanks, guys. :)</p>
