I was wondering if brown supports arts, do they have a lot of ec’s related to arts? are the kids involved? or just the ones after Visual Arts concentration?

While I don’t attend Brown, I know for sure that the university is very into the arts. In fact, you can take a few classes a couple blocks down at RISD for Brown credit.

There’s even a dorm for people interested in the arts, called (of course) Art House.

What type of ECs are you thinking of?

Sweet thanks!, officially perfect match lol.
I am looking for theatre, impro, painting, ads, film, writting, music, photography and architecture…any of those would be amazing.

^if you’re seriously interested in all of those, you won’t have enough time to do even a fraction of what you want if you come here.

I know I know, thats why I said any of those would be amazing
:p

Thanks!!

There is a new creative arts building which is being built, scheduled to open this winter, with space for dance, theater, etc.

Tons of theater, improv, music and dancing ECs. If you do a google search or search the Brown website, you’ll see a list of the 500 or so clubs on campus.

yes, but honestly, opportunities will be greater at a school with a larger/better art department. VA major here.
