is buying an sat writing book worth it

<p>ok, i am currently taking an sat prep class, and so my writing is basically at a 730. my parents want me to get a prep book on top of an sat class so i can rid my careless mistakes and maybe reach a 780 or even 800. my questions are should i get a grammer prep book( is it worth it if i am already at a 730 w/prep class/) and if so, which ones would you guys reccomend, i heard a lot about grammatrix, rocket revolution, and blackstone review. which ones helped you gys the most. thanks CC, and i kind of need an answer by tonight. help....=)</p>

<p>That Meltzer guide is a good book. Definitely the best one (IMO) to look at for writing. You might want to check out the Barrons Writing Workbook as well.</p>
