I figured it's a good time to ask this since its notification day so there is a lot of traffic on this section.

Anyways I got into Purdue for CS, which is known to be very good. I can't find any specific information or rankings on how CWRU is for CS, however.

Does anyone have any info as to WHY Case CS is as good or as bad as it may be?

My son plans to combine economics and computer science. In this respect, CWRU seems to have more flexibility to create double majors and minors. Since it has a reputation as a good engineering school, I would assume the CS programs are fairly good as opposed to some LACs where engineering is not a major area of study. That being said, Purdue has a very good reputation in CS. My son has the same options. If he decides to ultimately lean towards CS then Purdue may get the nod. At a Purdue information session we were told about a two week summer camp for CS freshman but I haven’t been able to find it on their website. This would help to make Purdue feel ‘smaller’ and more intimate. That would be one of the trade-offs of CWRU and Purdue I believe. - small vs. big school feel. Less support in the big school in general .
