So I’ve been accepted into the (Business) Online BA program at CSUF and are looking for feedback from those who might be familiar w/ it. I immediately noticed how they scheduled courses in a way where one is always P/T which means less Pell Grant. Also noticed how they plan to have you take summer sessions (No Pell Grant at all). I’d rather go F/T Spring + Fall, no summer sessions. Makes me wonder why they offer it to transfer students when it seems to be aimed at those already established out there and merely look for second degree or something. I have no interest in taking on considerable loans. Anyhow, I’d appreciate any insight into it, including quality and rep of education, instructors etc.
I applied to CSUF as Bus Admin (Info Sys) with the BABA (Online) as my second choice. I haven’t been accepted (or denied) to either yet. But the BABA is a cohort degree completion program where students in a group go through the same curriculum. It’s two courses every 8 weeks at $500/unit (IS or OOS). Much more expensive, but completely online. You’re supposed to be able to complete it in 3 years with a BA in BA (Professional Business Concentration) with no differentiation between on-campus and online degree certificate.
