is currently FREAKING OUT! HELP!

I just realized that for the Your Space section of the Vassar app, I sent absolutely nothing. I can't believe I did that. Vassar is one of my dream schools and I feel like I blew my chances by appearing not to care so much for the school as I didn't send extra material like everybody else would. Should I email Vassar my Your Space? What should I do?

First thing to do is calm down. Write what you would have written in the first place for that section. Then write a short cover letter stating that you would like the statement added to your application folder. Do not give any excuses like you forgot; just ask for it to be added. Go to the website and get the fax # for the admin office and fax the cover letter and the statement. Then, email admin office to confirm they received it. Done.

Edit: I guess you could email too. But, the advantage of a fax is it gets printed automatically and can be immediately added to the folder. Email makes the receiver have to print it after reading it - easily forgotten.

a lot of people don’t do your space, it’s not a huge deal if you can’t get it added. it really is optional.
