Hi Vassar and cc forum-goers!

So:
I recently sent in my regular decision application for admission, and I filled out the "your space" section in the supplement. My heart skipped 3 beats when I realized not 15 minutes after submitting my application that there was a typo in the your space section. I'm not sure why I didn't catch it, as both I and my mom proofread it. I spent a lot of time on the submission, so I'm freaking out right now - I know a typo doesn't necessarily make-or-break my admissions chances, but it's unprofessional, and I think it will make it seem like I don't care about Vassar enough to proofread my application. I was considering writing an email to the admissions committee saying pretty much what I'm writing here and apologizing profusely, but I don't know if that's a good idea given the fact that it will call attention to the typo.
Suggestions/advice would be appreciated - thank you!!
