I, either very stupidly or CB and I were enemies in a past life, sent my January SAT II scores to Stanford. Thing is, I'm not that confident about them, not having seen what they were first. And I know Stanford lists December as the last acceptable test date for RD applicants. Is this actually true or is it one of those things where they tell you that just so everyone will have their test scores in by then? If they really go by the rule, do they just ignore the post-December scores sent to them?

I doubt I sent mine in by December so I would try it.

What I understand is that they MIGHT consider January scores but cannot guarantee it. Since January scores arrive mid-February for them, it’s quite late and they may not consider the scores as a result.

I called them last year when I was applying and they basically said if they got it before they looked at my file they would consider it. If not, too bad. They did tell me to fax it first so they would get it sooner though they did also ask me to send one through Collegeboard. I would call to double check.

Hmm…do they look at applications before they’re complete? I know that my counselor has not sent my mid-year report yet.

I think so. Because then they would have to read the applications in a really short period of time. They start soon after the deadline in January I think.

In that case, I hope they’ve already read mine, lol.
Thanks for everyone’s help!

Does anyone know if they’ll tell you whether your file’s already been read if you ask?

haha i doubt that…

^ yeah, really. it’d be great if they did though, lol.
