Is EFT Necessary?

Is EFT necessary or simply more convenient? I would rather not deal with money electronically if I absolutely don't have to.

Has anyone found themselves regretting not signing up/can anyone not imagine having it?

EFT is for refunds - typically if you have financial aid, giving you the excess after housing and tuition which you would use for books, etc. If you don’t have EFT, which would put the money in a bank account of yours, they simply produce a check and give it to you. You would then take the check somewhere to cash or deposit it.

Therefore, it is not necessary, just a convenience to avoid handling checks and avoid delays while the check clears.
