Is FASFA too late in february?

<p>Hello,
I was about to finish my FASFA and it turns out I need a PIN number. I just applied for it, but
if it takes 3 business days it will be here like tuesday or wendesday of next week, which will be almost february. (i'm guessins saturday and sunday aren't business days). I was waiting till now because I had to get all my parent's financial information, which took a while. I read an article about how FASFA should be done in the first week of January, anyone who applies in February will be at a huge disadvantage because funds run out. Is that true? My schools' deadlines are like 13th of Feb.

<p>Reports are it has been taking less than 3 days this year. Both the student and one parent need a PIN. Did you apply for both? You’ll be fine if you submit it as soon as you get the PINs.</p>

<p>Yes, one of your parents needs to apply for a PIN and then sign the fafsa with that PIN.</p>
