I am interested in playing soccer at college but the thing is that I don’t know if when filling in the prospective student athlete questionnaire I am being considered as an applicant for that university. I am asking this because I am from Uruguay and I want to know if besides completing the prospective student athlete questionnaire I have to fill in the application questionnaire for that university or if just with the athletic questionnaire is enough. Sorry for the redundances, but this situation is not really easy to explain. Thank you really much!
Not at all. It just puts you in the coach’s radar as a possible recruit. You should go to the admissions part of the college web page. You still have to fulfill all the requirements listed there – application to college (not the one you are talking about), standardized testing, recommendations, and transcripts are most commonly required.
Inpatient is correct- the recruitment questionnaire is completely independent of any application for admission to the school. Also be aware that some coaches do not really look at the recruitment questionnaires. Just because they are available on the school website does not mean every coach chooses to use that as a recruiting tool. You should still complete one for any school you are interested in, but follow-up by sending the coach an e-mail and direct them to a high-light video if at all possible. A lot of people post a video on YouTube and then send the link to each coach.
^^^sorry- I meant intparent!!! I was on my phone and auto-correct took over…
I can be Intpatient when I need to be.
