Is FSU the only FL school that offers an OOS tuition waiver?

Hello :smile: Mom of a TX student who would really love to go OOS to school. Can anyone please tell me how FSU calculates their GPA needed for the OOS waiver? And is there a similar program at any other Florida university? Thank you!

I cannot help with respect to Florida colleges, but can offer a couple of suggestions.

The State of Texas belongs to the ACM (Academic Common Market). The ACM has 15 states as members. (States include Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Delaware, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland) Texas residents receive an out of state tuition waiver for certain majors.

By far, the easiest state for Texas residents to get a non-resident tuition waiver is Mississippi.

Ole Miss just requires a 3.0 or better GPA.
