Is GPA recalculated for review?

<p>On the Common App, I entered my "recalculated" GPA, which includes the grades from all courses on my HS transcript and summer sessions at separate institutions (taken during high school career). I had all transcripts sent in. Will Tufts admissions evaluate the transcripts separately, or will they look at an overall, combined GPA? </p>

<p>Will they will also check my official HS transcript to confirm my present coursework?</p>

<p>As an Admissions Officer at Tufts, I can say that we will be looking primarily at your high school transcript and the GPA within it in the context of your high school. </p>

<p>Additional coursework is certainly considered in your application but it will be evaluated separately since it was not (it seems) part of your traditional high school offering.</p>
