i got a 660 critical reading and a 640 writing (10 essay)...... Will grammatix be able to improve my cr and writing scores significantly? and if so, the downloadable version can be obtained as soon as you pay right? no wait as in the hard cover version

also anyone know how good RR is and which one of the two (rocket review or grammatix) is better?

For CR:

About Grammatix, it depends on what your weaknesses are. Are you getting problems wrong due to careless mistakes though you really knew what you were doing? If so, Grammatix is NOT for you. If many of your answers are guesses and you have no consistent strategy, Grammatix is for you.

Uh I didn't read the Writing part of the book... So I have no clue what's in it haha.

don't trust grammatix's essay writing. it gets you a 12 on the online scoring, why? cause all it does is make you talk alot of -expletive- cause thats what the online scoring looks at.

from all the ppl who used grammatix on october sats her, most (8/10) got a 10 or below

I heard Rocket review is very good for writing, is that true? how good is it for the other 2 sections?

"also anyone know how good RR is and which one of the two (rocket review or grammatix) is better?"

I personally thought RR was much better...I felt i learned a heck of alot after only reading it once even though i read grammatix 2-3 times...Im not sure about the writing or math sections because I didnt study for those but the cr section was definitely good.

Grammatix is really good for CR, but I agree with joe that its definitely lacking on the essay writing section. I was disappointed, because i followed G's guidelines and ended up with an 8 on the SAT, while I had a 12 ACT essay (which i got prior to reading G). But I would reccomend it if you're looking for test tips on the critical reading; it'll boost your scores. I can't comment on RR, since I havent looked over it.

if you read enough of the CR in every SAT book and use grammatix strategy, the CR gets a bit easier, yet i still have problems on tricky ones. Your writing might be a little better because the long passages might help you write better once you read tons of em. But i wouldn't rely much on Grammatix essay section, since only few times doe sit help.

grammatix is a piece of garbage

Read my review at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=54833. It ruffled quite a few feathers at the time, but I still stand by most of the review.

look, man, grammatix is just a money making scheme. for example, i emailed the guy, mike, during the summer to send me a paper version of grama cause i was from CC, and i never got it, nor did he repkly

the strategy...simple, grammatix tells u to go to question first, then go back to the passage... which everyone knows already
oh yea..and trust yourself, be confident.
okay i dunno if i'm violating any US laws for leaking info on copy right books. if so then delete this comment

where can you get Grammatix? I goggled it, clicked on Amazon link and there is nothing that I could find. Grammatix.com also doesn’t have one much info.
