Is Hofstra a " suitcase" school?

<p>We are looking at Hofstra for my daughter and hear its a great school. The only negative I hear is that the kids leave on the weekends. Any insight?</p>

<p>We have students from 46 states of the U.S. outside of New York and 50 countries from around the world. Weekend life on campus is pretty exciting, with tons of events happening from different clubs and student organizations. </p>
