My school in Australia offers both the HSC and IB curriculum. Will colleges prefer one curriculum over the other. I know that the IB is more international based, but the HSC in my opinion is just as competitive.
They will have a good idea of scores on the HSC (and will also use ATAR). So, pick where your strengths can shine and where you can be the top student.
With the IB program, some colleges will give you 32 credits with a IB diploma (and getting sufficient scores on the tests).
I don’t know if they give credits for the HSC .
Maybe contact some likely colleges and find out.
