<p>Ok so ive heard that IB credits are more accepted for college on n "international scale" and not so much a U.S scale.</p>
<p>Too big schools ivys and such do they accept individual IB scores or all ? Or, for Ap, do they accept all or some? Or does it not matter they will accept IB or AP for a certain thing ...</p>

<p>Most colleges will accept 4's and 5's on AP exams and 6's and 7's on IB HL exams. Colleges like HYPSM are unlikely to accept much credit from either, although they're useful for placement.</p>
<p>If you want to maximize your ability to get credit for AP/IB tests, you would need to go to a school that actually grants you credit for those tests. Not all schools do and many accept certain tests and not others. It is really varied.</p>
<p>many schools that do grant credit for IB tests only grant credit for HL tests (which are usually only 3 classes). What some kids do is to do some additional self-studying for their SL subjects and take the corresponding AP test. This works better for some subjects.</p>
