Is it advantageous

I'm a rising Junior. Just wondering, if I got a 3 on AP Euro (only test I've taken so far), and let's say I'm going to a college where they only accept 4's and 5's, is there any particular reason to report it? I really don't know how all that works out. Thanks.

Most won’t even ask until you’ve been accepted.

I would report it, assuming you have other AP scores that are higher to report along with it.

Report it. If you don’t, they’ll see that you took the class, but didn’t report the score. You don’t want them to think you’re concealing a 1 or a 2.

Of course, this is only if you took the course in high school. If you self-studied, it’s another story.

You could always study on your own next spring and retake the exam, then report the resulting 5 along with the 3 to show improvement and determination.
