Or short I list or explain some part of my application? or something that's not listed?

You're not expected to include anything there - only put something if you feel there's something that's not clearly represented in the rest of your application.

ON the other hand, figure out something interesting to put there! Leave NOTHING blank. Think about all those students you are competing with who have so much on their apps they can't even fit it all. Blank, empty spaces look bad, IMHO. Just don't reiterate what is already written elsewhere.

sooooo, yes or no to essay?

Include it if you think it will clear up the rest of your app. Don't include it if you are just including it to include it. Don't restate what is already clear in your app.

No to an essay. The admissions counselors already have enough essays to read; if they wanted another one, they'd ask for it.

Use it for an explanation of something that may not be clear, or to elaborate on something. Many students add their resume here, to clarify their passions. But not an essay.

I think that part is for something that doesn't fit in the rest of your application, but gives the adcoms a more complete image of you. If you wish to submit an essay, do it as long as it tells something that has NOTHING to do with anything from your application, or the other essay.
