Is it advisable to take three SAT II subject tests?

My D is currently taking AP American History, AP Bio and advance math. She was thinking of taking the subject tests in US Hist (May), Biology (May) and Math II (June).

However, she is now thinking of skipping the Biology sat II or putting it off until June.

She is not interested in applying to Georgetown which requires 3 SAT II's but might apply to Johns Hopkins.

Does she really need to take 3 SAT II's?

Oh, by the way she took the ACT with writing.

Any advice?

I think she should still take three. I applied to a school that only needed two, but I took three to show a wide range of talent. I think it definitely helped me! Also, if she does really well on two out of three of them, it shows how strong she is in her intended major area. If she does awful, just do not send the scores.

Is it okay not to send scores? We went to a UPenn info session that said ALL scores are to be sent.
